Green & Green is a vivid tapestry of growth, femininity, and symbolic rebirth. Inspired by the symmetrical patterns and palette of tribal textiles, Rouhani brings to life a scene where nature and womanhood are indistinguishably intertwined. Human forms sprout from branches, birds perch with watchful stillness, and pomegranate motifs hint at abundance and continuity. About the artist:
Roxaneh Rouhani (b. 1987) is a visual artist with an academic background in Food Industry Engineering. She has been painting since 2007 and has held three solo exhibitions, along with participating in numerous group shows in France, Turkey, and the United States. Her work, Dream Garden was featured in the book One Hundred Works, One Hundred Artists. Rouhani’s signature style blends textures inspired by nomadic carpets with mythical and real creatures drawn from ancient visual traditions and Saghakhaneh aesthetics.
