Description:
The More You Axed Me, The Greener I Grew is a poetic visual manifesto of resilience. Eight stylized trees enclosed in leaf-shaped frames stand tall and uniform—except one, freshly sprouted and reaching upward despite being seemingly cut. Surrounded by a patterned border evoking nomadic textiles, the work pulses with symbolic rhythm. Rouhani turns simple forms into powerful emblems of endurance, regeneration, and spiritual defiance in the face of harm.
