About the artist: Marjan Andaroudi (b. 1980) is an artist and activist from the Middle East whose practice critiques societal norms and redefines traditional female imagery. Her works often feature surreal figures and “monsters” that challenge stereotypes of femininity. Through exhibitions across the Middle East, Europe, and North America, she continues to explore themes of body, life, and identity in a world where individuality is often at risk of being lost.
